Maillot style 'stock garment' with high cut leg and cross over straps, navy blue ground with stylised platypus motif in red and 'Australia' printed in white.

Cardboard swing tags attached. One with geometric print and 'SPEEDO / STYLE 65555 / SIZE 12W / COLOUR 068 / SPEEDO [boomerang logo] MADE IN AUSTRALIA'. The other tag printed with the Speedo name and boomerang logo, also inscribed in black ink '1988 / STOCK GARMENT / 'PLATYPUS' / NYLON LYCRA / CROSSBACK / WOMENS 12/34'. Printed fabric label with boomerang logo and 'SPEEDO / 12 / TO FIT BUST 85 cm / HIPS 90 cm / NYLON / ELASTANE (LYCRA) / MADE IN AUSTRALIA' with washing instructions on the reverse.
