Green nylon / lycra maillot style 'stock garment' with high cut leg and cross over back. Diagonal gold panel inset across the upper left front printed in green with diagonal stripes, a map of Australia and 'AUSTRALIA'. Fine white piping trims the joining seam. Red and white boomerang logo and 'SPEEDO' transfer applied at the right hip.

Cardboard swing tag attached, printed with boomerang logo and 'SPEEDO'. Also inscribed in black ink with '1984 / LOS ANGELES / OLYMPIC GAMES / STOCK GARMENT / NYLON / LYCRA / MISSES 16/34'. Printed fabric label with boomerang logo and 'SPEEDO / 16 (34) / HEIGHT 170 cm / 80% NYLON / 20% ELASTANE / (LYCRA). Washing instructions and 'MADE IN AUSTRALIA' printed on the reverse.
