Man's racing brief with high cut leg and drawstring waist threaded with white nylon cord. Bottle green nylon / lycra featuring an allover design of yellow and white lightening stripes with 'AUSTRALIA' in white and yellow (inverted). Machine embroidered black and red SPEEDO and boomerang logo applied at the lower right hip.

Cardboard swing tag attached, printed with boomerang logo and 'SPEEDO'. Also inscribed on tag, in black ink, '1980 / MOSCOW / OLYMPIC GAMES / 'LIGHTENING FLASH / NYLON/LYCRA / RACER / MENS 14/32'. Printed fabric label with boomerang logo and 'SPEEDO / 14 (32) / TO FIT WAIST 80cm / 78% NYLON / 22% ELASTOMERIC / (LYCRA)' and on reverse, 'MADE IN AUSTRALIA'.
