Drawing, bob and motion guide for 14 3/4" double acting rotative engine by Boulton and Watt, pencil / ink / paper, Cornwall, England, 12 July 1797
Ink and pencil working sketches showing parts of the 14 3/4" double acting rotative engine designed by Boulton and Watt. On one side of the sheet of paper is a sketch showing the aerial view of a bob. On the reverse is a sketch showing the end view of the motion and guide for the engine at the Wheal Carpenter Mine. Sums and working notes can be seen on both drawings.
