Ashtray, earthenware, Phyllis Craig, South Australia, 1940-1950
Small dish [ashtray], earthenware, hand-built, circular with flat base and low straight sides, applied single leaves in a spaced band encircle the exterior under a pinkish red lead glaze, the interior pale aqua glazed.

Makers mark "CRAIG" incised and "1472" painted in pink glaze under the base.
