Teacup and saucer, commercially manufactured porcelain blanks made by Haviland, France ; the large teacup (-1) is bucket-shaped with a harp-shaped handle, the saucer (-2) is circular with a concave well ; cup and saucer both feature an onglaze frieze of reclining cats in angular art deco style hand painted in black adjacent to the rim, handle and rims are black painted and cup interior is painted with a pale yellow ground.

Marks: Painted marks "FLOY HUBBLE / 1929" under the cup and "FLOY HUBBLE" under the saucer in black and transfer printed makers mark "HAVILAND / FRANCE" under the saucer in green.
