'There is a hint of the regal' appeared as an advertisment in the Australian Women's Weekly on the 30th December, 1944, one of a series of wartime advertisements for Prestige limited, a Melbourne-based company which had been manufacturing silk stockings and lingerie since 1922. The company was also responsible for producing parachutes during WWII.

The image depicts a three quarter profile of a woman with short blonde hair wearing a black round necked garment. She is also wearing a brooch of pastel coloured baubles on her proper right side collar.
