Vase, buff-coloured earthenware (buffware), Mesopotamia, Neo-Babylonian period, [1169-539 BC]
Small cylinderical shaped vessel of unglazed buff coloured earthernware. The vessel consists of a small flat bse, rising to a cylinderical body, slightly swollen lower body and steep sides which taper gradually to a slightly thickenedrim. The unglazed surgace is coarse and friable.
Made: Mesopotamia; 1169 BC - 539 BC
