Description
Sculptural form, glass/metal, Douglas Annand, Sydney.
Clear glass of amorphous shape with unidentified metal embedded in underside base. Glass flattened into elongated form, slightly humped in centre, and at one end a slender piece of glass protrudes from object and now rests on its surface topside. Underside of glass has an amorphously shaped unknown metal embedded, may originally have been poured into glass in molten state. Topside of glass smooth, underside surface rippled, uneven, and frosted.
The Registration Number of an object is a unique identifying number applied by the museum at the point of acquisition. Current numbering format comprises the year of acquisition, followed by a sequential number.
