Sculptural form, face, glass/iron, Douglas Annand, Sydney.
Clear glass with wire mesh and ball-bearing embedded to form stylised profile of human face. Glass flattened but raised at one edge in shape of an ear. Criss-crossed wire mesh embedded underside; ball-bearing embedded underside edge to represent an eye. Three small holes drilled through glass, one of which represents a mouth, two more holes drilled part way through glass. Topside of glass smooth, underside surface rippled, uneven, and frosted.
