The design on this plate is the same as one of two shields on the lift doors at the Royal Exchange Assurance building (Kindersley House).

Description
Printing plate, Royal Exchange Assurance, steel, Douglas Annand, Sydney, 1960-61.
Flat, rectangular, dark grey plate with raised image of coat of arms for Royal Exchange Assurance, plus outer rectangular border. On the "U" shaped coat of arms are two sailing vessels above a grand building with central tower. Atop the coat of arms is a female warrior figure. Either side of coat of arms stand two male figures: on left is a sailor holding an anchor, on right a crowned figure holding a three pronged object. Beneath the coat of arms, written in raised lettering: "TRADE & NAVIGATION"; below this in sunken print: "ROYAL EXCHANGE ASSURANCE".
