Description
Printing plate, Atlas Assurance, steel, Douglas Annand, Sydney.
Flat, rectangular, dark grey plate with raised logo for Atlas Assurance, plus outer rectangular border. Image depicts a Hercules like figure on his knees with decorative robe hanging from left shoulder holding a globe of the world on his shoulders, head bowed so that face is hidden, each arm wrapped around either side of the globe. On the globe, the map of South America, the Atlantic Ocean and Africa face outwards. At base of figure, in raised block print: "ATLAS ASSURANCE".
