Model, glass screen, perspex / fibreglass / brass / feathers / plant material / cardboard, Douglas Annand, Sydney.
Model for an unknown glass screen plus an identifying card. 90/58-147/1: Main body of model is a clear rectangular perspex screen; stuck at about a 45 degree angle to both sides of perspex are yellow and red rectangular fibreglass pieces which sit in rows, 7 across and 14 deep. Brass pins are embedded in perspex at various angles, on base these act as the feet. On top of model lie four feathers of different types and some dried plant material. 90/58-147/2: Rectangular piece of cardboard with rounded edges, hand written in black felt pen: "MODEL/for a GLASS SCREEN".

On card, 90/58-147/2: Underside, an invitation to Annand to attend a function - in black typed script: "The Directors of/Ure Smith Publishers/request the pleasure of the company of/"; hand written in blue biro: "Mr Douglas Annand/"; again in black typed script: "at a Cocktail Party to celebrate the publication of/A Decorators World by Margaret Lord/at the Gloucester Room, Australia Hotel/45 Castlereagh Street, Sydney/on Monday, 24th November, 1969/R.S.V.P. 18th November 6=8 p.m./Miss Hunter 929=6144". Pencil line drawn horizontally through middle of invitation; a tick also in pencil at centre bottom of invitation.
