The corset is boned with six pieces of boning at the front, two on each side and two at the back. Beaded tassels are threaded onto nylon cotton and hand sewn onto the pink ribbon that is stitched onto the costume and circular crystals (as they appear on the neckline) are also sewn onto the back of the bodice above the ribbon. The tassels on the lower half of the ribbon are silver and some feature circular mirror sequins. Two types of beaded tassels appear on the left hand side of the costume on the upper part of the ribbon. The first features one large purple bead followed by two pink and two softer pink spherical beads, two clear cut beads, one long silver bead, one clear bead and two long silver beads. The corset is fastened down the back by fourteen hooks and eyes and four press studs. The fasteners are hand stitched onto the corset. The halter neck fastens with a hook and eye and a press stud. Flesh coloured netting has been sewn to the outer edges of the neckline, the halter neck and the centre back and two nylon beige loops are attached to the inside of the corset for hanging the costume. White tape is attached around the inside waist of the corset. At the end of the tape are two large hooks and four eyelets with hooks.
