Description
Corset, womens, silk / steel, [England], 1860-1870.

Corset, womens, silk satin with cream dlashes, short waisted. [Steel] boneing with centre front steel busk fastenings, patterned brass hook and buttons top and bottom brass hook and eye in middle. Lacing up centre back through brass eyelets. Cream stitching and triangular flashing of cream thread at top and bottom of bones. Lined with cream satteen, top edged in cream lace.

Rectangular white swing tag attatched with white cotton thread to front hook, white adhesive label on tag, black in stamped '11 MAR 1985/140'.
