Description

Shorts, 'Okis', childs, cotton, Done Art and Design, Australia, 1980-1989.

Loose fitting shorts to above the knees made of printed cotton. There are two slash pockets at side seams at hip level. One patch pocket at proper right back. Printed on the shorts is a repeat Ken Done design of Sydney Harbour featuring the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, boats bobbing on the water and a big yellow sun in a blue sky. Elastic waistband and drawstring of blue cotton cord that ties at centre front. The shorts are machine sewn and unlined.

Yellow and black fabric label inside centre back waist 'Done/ART AND DESIGN/6'. White fabric label inside centre back waist 'WARM HAND WASH/DO NOT BLEACH/DO NOT TUMBLE DRY/WARM IRON/100% COTTON/MADE IN AUSTRALIA'. Two printed cardboard swing tags attached to proper left side seam, one white and black with Cottonmark logo on the front and information on reverse, one yellow and black 'Done/ART AND DESIGN' on front on on reverse 'AKOKH37 0098/KIDS OKIS A/O SYDNEY/MLTI/SIZE 6...barcode.../R.R.P. $30.00'.
