Milk jugs (4) : -1) large whiteware milk jug, earthenware, largest of a set of four, the swollen ovoid vessel with an undercut base, steep sides flaring to the rounded shoulder supporting a short vertical neck, a pointed pouring beak at the front of the wide mouth and an angular squared handle with indent line detail to sides set back of neck to lower body, the whole vessel dipped in a white slip and clear lead glazed ; -2) whiteware milk jug, earthenware, second largest of a set of four, the swollen ovoid vessel with an undercut base, steep sides flaring to the rounded shoulder supporting a short vertical neck, a pointed pouring beak at the front of the wide mouth and an angular squared handle with indent line detail to sides set back of neck to lower body, the whole vessel dipped in a white slip and clear lead glazed ; -3) whiteware milk jug, earthenware, second smallest of a set of four, the swollen ovoid vessel with an undercut base, steep sides flaring to the rounded shoulder supporting a short vertical neck, a pointed pouring beak at the front of the wide mouth and an angular squared handle with indent line detail to sides set back of neck to lower body, the whole vessel dipped in a white slip and clear lead glazed ; -4) small whiteware milk jug, earthenware, smallest of a set of four, the swollen ovoid vessel with an undercut base, steep sides flaring to the rounded shoulder supporting a short vertical neck, a pointed pouring beak at the front of the wide mouth and an angular squared handle with indent line detail to sides set back of neck to lower body, the whole vessel dipped in a white slip and clear lead glazed.
