Mary Andrews notes (4/11/03) that Harry Williamson played a role in the development of graphics for the Lausanne exhibition. She too was heavily involved in realising the project, actually suffering a miscarriage while rushing to get work ready for shipment after Gordon Andrews had left Australia for Lausanne. She notes that few realise that it was really a three person team that put the whole show together.

Andrews was commissioned by the Commonwealth Department of Trade to design an exhibition depicting Australia, its people and products for the 41st Comptoir Suisse in Lausanne Switzerland. Australia was guest nation at this trade fair which was held in the grounds of the Palais de Beaulieu, 10-23 September 1960.

This material includes a guard book which was part of the official report on Australia's pavilion. This book contains photographs of the exhibition, visiting dignitaries, the economic seminar that co-incided with the exhibition, the architectural exhibition curated by Robin Boyd, and the fashion parade; programmes; invitations; promotional literature etc. Other material includes loose photographic prints, transparencies, a poster, and a sketch of the exhibition, its installation, graphic and features.
